Work Control Center Manager (US Navy Program)

About the role

The Work Control Center Manager will be the single point of contact for the Maintenance Work Control group supporting a unique U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role ensures that scheduled maintenance work is completed on time, accurately entered into enterprise business systems, and meets the highest standards of safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage scheduled work readiness through meetings, metrics, dashboards, schedule reviews and walkthroughs.
• Provide work control, planning, infrastructure, facilities support and plant‑operations oversight.
• Receive, review and delegate service requests and work orders submitted by the customer.
• Maintain a database of all internal and customer‑submitted service requests and work orders.
• Participate in future planning and develop plans with O&M and Public Works functional areas.
• Prepare and deliver required reports and performance dashboards.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, minor construction and operation of facilities to ensure cost‑effective, reliable support.
• Coordinate building upgrades, office space planning, environmental studies and facility master‑plan development.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience in facilities maintenance, base‑camp maintenance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience administering ERP system transactions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining and ability to obtain required visas and security clearances.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain facility credentials throughout deployment.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
