About the role

Our client, a not‑for‑profit social enterprise focused on sustainable agricultural technologies, is seeking an Agribusiness Commercial & Growth Lead for Kenya. This senior leadership position will drive sales growth, expand market presence, and deliver measurable social impact by promoting irrigation solutions to smallholder farmers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute nationwide sales strategies aligned with impact targets.
• Set and monitor annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets across all regions.
• Lead, coach and motivate a high‑performing sales team.
• Strengthen distribution networks and forge strategic partnerships with NGOs, government agencies and private sector players.
• Conduct market analysis to identify penetration opportunities and adjust tactics.
• Oversee operational performance, ensuring efficient field execution and data‑driven decision making.
• Represent the organization in key stakeholder meetings and industry events.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in agribusiness sales or commercial leadership.
• Deep understanding of the Kenyan agricultural landscape and smallholder farmer needs.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage high‑performing teams.
• Strong business development and partnership management skills.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a passion for social impact.
