About the role
Siemens Digital Industries is seeking an Architecture and Portfolio Sales Specialist to drive market engagement and technical sales across the Americas. Based in Alpharetta, GA, you will act as a technology ambassador, linking digital solutions with customer needs and supporting the end‑to‑end sales process.
Key responsibilities
- Engage customers and manage opportunities, providing deal support and market insights.
- Represent Digital Industries at trade fairs, conferences, and on social media as a thought‑leader.
- Work with high‑priority customers throughout bid processes and drive adoption of new technologies.
- Support Sales Acceleration and channel teams with technical expertise and bid strategy.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide topline input for new feature business cases and own the technology vision for assigned product families.
- Lead technical sales strategies, deal structuring, and closure activities.
- Enable sales teams with technical insights, value propositions, and portfolio go‑to‑market initiatives.
- Deliver post‑sales support, ensure smooth handover to delivery teams, and drive customer adoption and retention.
- Gather market feedback and advocate technology adoption at executive levels.
Required profile
- Experienced professional with a strong background in technical sales and digital industries.
- Proven ability to engage senior customers and influence decision‑makers.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess market trends and identify business opportunities.
- Strong communication skills to act as a technology ambassador and thought‑leader.
- Ability to collaborate across sales, engineering, and product teams.
