Business Development Manager

About the role

Soliant is seeking an experienced, self‑directed Business Development Manager to expand its client base across Cloud Native Application Development, AWS, and AI practices. You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and relationship building to closing consulting engagements and transitioning work to delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new mid‑market technology leaders through conferences, events, and professional networks.
• Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, including discovery, solution design, proposal, negotiation, and contract signing.
• Present AI strategy, AI‑assisted development, and workflow automation solutions to CTOs, CIOs, and VPs of IT.
• Maintain a robust pipeline without reliance on inbound leads or SDR support.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth hand‑off of won engagements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technology consulting or services sales.
• Comfortable discussing AI strategy and implementation with senior IT executives.
• Self‑motivated, able to travel to 2‑3 events per month, including occasional out‑of‑town trips.
• Strong credibility and reputation‑building skills.
