About the role

The Business Development Officer – Broker Channel will drive profitable growth for NCBA by working closely with licensed insurance brokers. Based in Westlands, the role focuses on building and managing broker relationships to expand the distribution of general insurance products.

Key responsibilities

  • Acquire, activate and manage relationships with licensed insurance brokers.
  • Build and convert a quality pipeline of approved general insurance products.
  • Coordinate quotations, renewals and service delivery to ensure timely execution.
  • Strengthen broker engagement and productivity through regular communication and support.
  • Analyze portfolio insights to improve customer retention, experience and channel profitability.

Required profile

  • Minimum of one month of relevant experience in business development, sales or insurance distribution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with external partners.
  • Ability to interpret data and use insights to drive performance improvements.
