Business Execution Lead – Middle East & Africa (VP)

About the role

The Business Execution Lead for Payments in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) partners with the Payments MEA Head and the Global Payments Business Execution team to drive strategic initiatives, revenue growth, and operational excellence across the region. Reporting to the Global Payments Business Execution Head, this senior position provides a comprehensive view of the Payments business and its global priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business, Function, and Cluster Heads to advance Payments‑wide strategic priorities, including performance management, client experience, headcount, and expense control.
• Partner with local and cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals and lead regional business forums.
• Lead revenue and sales analytics, delivering insights that support growth across product lines and customer segments in MEA.
• Prepare executive communications and reports for Business Reviews, Town Halls, earnings presentations, and ad‑hoc strategic initiatives.
• Drive operational excellence by establishing best practices and streamlining processes.
• Manage and execute business‑critical projects in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Communicate business and product knowledge, as well as strategic requirements, to internal stakeholders.
• Assess risk in all decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and Citi’s risk policies.
