Business Intelligence Analyst (India or Malaysia)

About the role

Standard Chartered is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its data analytics team. The position can be based in India or Malaysia and involves end‑to‑end delivery of BI projects, from requirement gathering to implementation and support.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture, document and translate complex analytics requirements.
• Design BI schemas, reports and interactive dashboards using best‑practice data‑visualisation techniques.
• Perform performance tuning, testing and troubleshooting of new BI solutions.
• Support project planning, estimation and lifecycle management for embedded analytics applications.
• Develop and maintain data checks, automated compliance audits and UAT test cases.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance and performance monitoring for dashboards and reporting objects.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 10 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
• Proven ability to work closely with enterprise data management, project teams, partners and third‑party vendors.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data integrity and accurate reporting.
• Demonstrated adherence to regulatory standards and corporate conduct.
