Casual Staff Pharmacist – Community Health Centre

About the role

The RISE CHC Pharmacy, part of Collingwood Neighbourhood House, is seeking a casual Staff Pharmacist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering primary‑care and health‑promotion services to socially complex populations in East Vancouver.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide direct client care, answering pharmaceutical questions, offering education, and interpreting guidelines and policies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support integrated, holistic health services.
• Maintain compliance with provincial pharmacy regulations and CHC standards.

Required profile

• Current registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Completion of the Opioid Agonist Therapy Compliance and Management Program and injection certification.
• At least two years recent retail pharmacy experience in BC, preferably in a team‑based primary‑care setting.
• Minimum four months of WinRx experience within the past year.
• Completion of the Pharmacist Prescribing for Minor Ailments and Contraception regulatory module and practical prescribing experience.
• Commitment to the values of Community Health Centres and ability to work with socially complex clients.
