Cluster Director of People & Culture

About the role

The Cluster Director of People & Culture is an executive leadership position responsible for shaping the People & Culture strategy across Fairmont The Norfolk and Fairmont Mara Safari Club. Reporting to the Cluster General Manager, the role sits on the Executive Committees and champions Accor’s values of excellence, integrity, inclusion and respect.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Cluster and Unit General Managers to align People & Culture priorities with business objectives.
• Develop and execute the annual Cluster People & Culture Business Plan.
• Provide expert advice on HR policies, Kenyan Labour Law and organisational effectiveness.
• Lead talent strategy including recruitment, succession planning, leadership development and internal mobility.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll and workforce planning to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
• Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, health & safety and a high‑performance inclusive culture.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Director of Human Resources.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Prior experience working in Kenya is desirable.
