College Principal – Leadership & Management

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic College Principal to lead our institution in Westlands, Nairobi. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, drive academic excellence, and foster strong community relationships to ensure a high‑performing learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all college administrative functions, including staff coordination, curriculum implementation, and student discipline.
• Ensure financial accountability by overseeing fee collection, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Supervise examination scheduling, administration, and grading in partnership with examining bodies.
• Coordinate training plans, timetables, and regulatory compliance for both part‑time and full‑time lecturers.
• Promote TVET partnerships and represent the college in marketing and business development activities.
• Maintain internal quality assurance of competency‑based assessments and keep accurate academic records.
• Lead staff development through coaching, mentoring, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or related field; Master’s degree in TVET Management, Educational Leadership or similar is advantageous.
• At least four years of senior‑level experience in educational administration or college management.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, staff, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
