Communications Officer – Graphic Design, Videography & Photography

About the role

World Vision Kenya is seeking a Communications Officer to provide graphic design, videography and photography expertise for its Communications and Public Engagement team. The role supports the FY26‑30 strategy, programme documentation, donor reporting and public engagement across 33 counties.

Key responsibilities

• Design print and digital materials such as reports, infographics, social media graphics and presentation templates using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Create and maintain branded PowerPoint, Word and Canva templates for rapid production of recurring materials.
• Plan, shoot and edit videos for documentation, donor reporting and campaigns using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve, delivering platform‑specific versions.
• Capture high‑quality photographs during field visits, events and emergencies, edit them in Lightroom and Photoshop, and manage the photo library with proper metadata.
• Ensure all visual content complies with World Vision brand guidelines and child safeguarding standards.
• Travel domestically up to 30% of the time for field shoots and collaborate with programme teams.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional experience in graphic design with proven videography and photography skills.
• Portfolio demonstrating print and digital design, video editing and photography.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film Production, Communications or a related field.
• Willingness to travel across Kenya and work in both office and field environments.
• Commitment to Christian‑based organisational values and child safeguarding principles.
