Community Mobilizer - Health

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Community Mobilizer to support the implementation of its Global Fund TB project at the sub‑county level. The role focuses on strengthening community awareness, facilitating data collection, and building the capacity of local partners to improve TB service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support the rollout of the Global Fund TB project in assigned sub‑counties, ensuring adherence to project standards and guidelines.
• Increase community awareness and sensitisation on TB services, working closely with community groups, TB champions and health promoters.
• Collaborate with the AP Manager and Global TB Project Officer to identify gaps in TB programming and propose corrective actions.
• Manage and monitor community‑led monitoring groups, peer monitors, super‑users and other TB actors.
• Collect, verify and compile community data (contact tracing forms, treatment interrupter forms, vouchers, reports) for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Mobilise and train community groups on the TIBU App, TB regimens and related health topics.
• Build the capacity of partners, including peer monitors, super‑users and support groups for drug‑resistant TB.
• Document and share impact stories and best practices for the Global Fund project.

Required profile

• Experience working on community health or TB projects at the sub‑county or district level.
• Proven ability to engage community groups, facilitate trainings and coordinate data collection activities.
• Strong organisational skills to manage budgets, schedule meetings and produce timely reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, health officers and local stakeholders.
