Consultant – General Comment Development on WASH & Nutrition

About the role

World Vision is seeking a consultant to lead the development of a General Comment on Water, Sanitation, Hygiene (WASH) and Nutrition. The role involves preparing key documents, facilitating stakeholder consultations, and supporting validation workshops with the ACERWC and its partners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare an inception report and draft outline of the General Comment and submit them to ACERWC and partners.
• Facilitate consultations with key informants, children and young people, synthesize findings, and produce a first draft of the General Comment.
• Collect feedback, develop a second draft, and present it to ACERWC for review.
• Participate in ACERWC sessions, coordination meetings, and validation workshops as required.
• Develop the final draft of the General Comment incorporating all inputs for adoption by ACERWC.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in WASH and nutrition policy development, including drafting technical documents.
• Proven ability to facilitate consultations and synthesize stakeholder inputs.
• Willingness to work onsite in Nairobi and collaborate with ACERWC and partner organizations.
