Corporate Alliances Specialist (Fixed‑Term)

About the role
Under the guidance of the Senior Advisor for Public and Private Sector Partnerships, the Corporate Alliances Specialist will support the design, implementation and scaling of multi‑country private‑sector partnerships that generate both financial and non‑financial resources for UNICEF’s programmes in Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, develop and finalize financial and non‑financial partnerships with African companies, platforms and associations.
- Conduct due‑diligence, pitch development and negotiation, especially with sensitive industries such as extractives.
- Interact directly with prospective partners across the region, manage accounts and nurture existing relationships.
- Provide technical guidance to Country Offices on business engagement, industry engagement and Child Rights and Business (CRB) initiatives.
- Support evidence generation, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation for CRB and business‑engagement activities.
- Lead capacity‑building activities and deliver training to strengthen partnership skills at the country level.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in partnership development, private‑sector engagement or business development within an international development context.
- Strong understanding of multi‑country coordination and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel within the region as required.
