Digital Impact Manager (Regional T4D) – Fixed Term, Nairobi

About the role

The Digital Impact Manager (Regional T4D) will lead the design, deployment and sustainability of technology‑for‑development (T4D) interventions across UNICEF’s Kenya country office. Reporting to the Regional Services Division, the role supports programme results by removing digital bottlenecks and aligning solutions with UNICEF’s Technology Playbook.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance and technical oversight for the identification, selection, concept design and deployment of T4D solutions.
• Review technical solutions to ensure compliance with UNICEF standards and the Technology Playbook; contribute to terms of reference and vendor selection.
• Advise on implementation strategies, troubleshoot issues and document challenges and resolutions.
• Manage business and programme relationships to define high‑level requirements and match them with appropriate T4D solutions.
• Lead the integration of digital development and innovation into programme planning and support quality‑assurance processes.
• Develop and implement the country‑office digital innovation strategy, highlighting gaps, opportunities and scale‑up pathways.

Required profile

• UNICEF P‑4 level or equivalent senior experience in digital solution implementation.
• Proven experience in guiding technology procurement, deployment and quality assurance in a development or humanitarian context.
• Strong ability to work with cross‑functional teams and senior programme staff.

Required skills

• Familiarity with UNICEF’s Technology Playbook and related standards.
