Driver – Local Residents of Kajiado County

About the role

The organization seeks a reliable driver to transport staff, visitors, and donors safely across Kajiado County and to field locations. The role supports logistical operations for an NGO focused on vulnerable children, ensuring timely and secure movement while maintaining vehicle standards.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate staff and visitor transport to work sites, donor visits, campaigns, and evaluations.
• Coordinate additional vehicles and drivers for major events as needed.
• Handle parcel and mail delivery in collaboration with the administration department.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine checks, log mileage, and ensure mechanical soundness.
• Arrange vehicle servicing, minor repairs, and initiate procurement for major maintenance.
• Report accidents, malfunctions, and submit fuel and invoice documentation to fleet management.
• Prepare monthly vehicle reports and keep records up to date.

Required profile

• KCSE Certificate.
• Minimum three years of driving experience with Class B, C1, C, CE, D3, or CD licences.
• Basic knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance.
• Computer literacy.
• First‑aid certification (preferred).
• Defensive driving certification (preferred).
• Prior experience in an NGO environment (preferred).
