Equipment Operator / Rental Technician

About the role

Precision Well Servicing is looking for a motivated Equipment Operator / Rental Technician to join its Rentals group. The hybrid position supports operations in Cold Lake, Nisku and Lloydminster and requires travel to customer sites to provide on‑site equipment support.

Key responsibilities

• Operate specialized equipment such as Truck Mounted Rod Xcellerator, Torque Truck and Push Pull Unit.
• Travel to client locations to deliver rental support and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections and repairs on heavy‑machinery assets.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Derrickhand, Driller or Rig Manager on a service rig.
• Experience operating TMX units or comparable heavy machinery (preferred).
• Familiarity with Torque Trucks and Push Pull Units (preferred).
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s licence with a clean record.
• Safety‑focused mindset and adherence to industry regulations.
