About the role
The Estate Manager will oversee the maintenance, repair and renovation of the Institute’s facilities, ensuring a safe and functional environment for staff and students. Reporting to senior management, the role combines hands‑on supervision with strategic planning of budgets and schedules.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules and budgets for all campus projects.
- Supervise contracted construction works and service providers, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Oversee repairs of buildings, machinery and equipment, and produce health‑and‑safety reports.
- Maintain accurate records of all assets for accountability and future planning.
- Coordinate with internal departments to prioritize renovation and improvement projects.
Required profile
- Diploma in Building Technology, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in facilities or construction management.
- Accreditation by the National Construction Authority as a supervisor of works.
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution and communication abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in architectural construction software.
- Competence with general computer applications for reporting and budgeting.
