Fabricator – Sheet Metal Assembly (Shop Floor & Site)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Fabricator to produce and assemble sheet‑metal components for electrical switchboards, outdoor cabinets, server racks and data‑centre enclosures. The role combines shop‑floor fabrication with on‑site installation and alignment work.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble sheet‑metal parts according to technical drawings.
• Cut, bend, drill, tap and perform basic MIG/TIG welding operations.
• Assemble components using fasteners, rivets and other joining methods.
• Ensure proper alignment, fitment and finishing of all assemblies.
• Coordinate with design and production teams for clarifications and improvements.
• Handle on‑site erection, installation and alignment of structures, including modifications and rectifications.
• Maintain safety procedures and clean working practices.
• Meet quality standards throughout fabrication and installation.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Fabrication or equivalent experience.
• 2–6 years of hands‑on sheet‑metal fabrication and assembly experience.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
• Experience with site installation work and coordination.
