Facilities Investment Manager – US Navy Program

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Facilities Investment Manager to lead the facilities investment program for a critical US Navy mission on Diego Garcia. The role ensures the efficient operation, maintenance, and development of facilities in line with contract requirements and emergency response needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall Facilities Investment program, aligning maintenance, repairs, and improvements with contractual obligations.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute facility investment projects to deliver on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement operational goals that enhance long‑term value and functionality of managed facilities.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary teams, ensuring clear communication with government representatives, contractors, and internal staff.
• Provide day‑to‑day oversight during normal government hours and be on‑site within two hours for contingencies or emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with government standards, policies, and contract requirements, and prepare regular performance and status reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Facilities Manager or in a comparable multi‑disciplinary environment.
• Proven leadership and team‑management experience in complex settings.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute facilities investment programs meeting operational, financial, and strategic objectives.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving capabilities.
