Finance Administrator – Busia, Kenya

About the role

The Finance Administrator will provide comprehensive financial, administrative and property support to senior principals. This role combines executive assistance, accounting duties, property management and farm administration in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage calendars, appointments, travel arrangements and correspondence for senior staff.
• Maintain accurate financial records, process payments, reconcile bank accounts and prepare financial summaries.
• Administer rental property registers, monitor rent payments, coordinate repairs and liaise with tenants and contractors.
• Oversee short‑term/Airbnb bookings, guest payments, cleaning schedules and revenue tracking.
• Track farm expenditures, support budgeting, process supplier payments and coordinate procurement.
• Provide business administration support including bookkeeping, asset tracking and use of Zoho or QuickBooks.
• Maintain employee records, contracts and payroll related documentation.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple administrative streams.
• Experience in finance or accounting functions, including invoicing and bank reconciliation.
• Familiarity with property or rental management processes.
• Ability to work independently and support senior executives.
