Finance Manager – Kenya

About the role

The Finance Manager will provide overall financial leadership for DHL's Kenya business, supporting the General Manager and operational managers in strategic, tactical and operational finance matters. The role ensures profitability, compliance and effective financial decision‑making across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Support costing of commercial opportunities and ensure long‑term profitability.
• Coordinate scenario planning, budgeting and forecasting in line with group requirements.
• Prepare monthly reporting packs for Kenya, sub‑region and group management.
• Review and challenge local financial performance against budget and forecasts.
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance, including tax returns, CREST filings and annual financial statements.
• Manage treasury functions, cash‑flow forecasting, Capex and central bank regulations.
• Oversee corporate shared services, internal controls, cost control and audit processes.
• Provide risk‑management direction and liaise with group risk structures.

Required profile

• Proven financial leadership experience supporting senior management.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to manage budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance, tax filing and treasury operations.
• Experience with internal controls, audit coordination and risk management.
