Finance Systems Functional Support – Tier 2 Oracle SME

About the role

CARE is seeking a Finance Systems Functional Support professional to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Financial Applications. The role operates at Tier 2 support level, ensuring smooth operational use of finance systems while supporting strategy execution and process compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of finance strategies defined by the Global Process Owner.
• Apply detailed finance requirements, policies and practices to maintain process compliance.
• Provide Tier 2 assistance to end‑users, troubleshooting system issues and guiding functional use.
• Collaborate with Oracle technology teams to design and operate end‑to‑end solutions.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new releases and processes.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher‑tier technical support.
• Monitor performance trends and propose continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of finance processes and Oracle Financial Applications.
• Experience delivering Tier 2 functional support to end‑users.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technology teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with focus on compliance and operational excellence.
