Head of Business Management

About the role

We are a leading asset‑intensive distribution and services business operating across multiple countries. We are looking for a Head of Business Management to own the P&L, drive profitability and lead a network of service sites.

Key responsibilities

• Take full accountability for the end‑to‑end P&L across several countries, driving revenue growth, margin expansion and cost optimisation.
• Oversee a distributed network of service and operational sites, ensuring consistent service delivery, efficiency and performance.
• Define and execute regional growth strategies, identify new market opportunities and expand the business footprint.
• Lead, mentor and build high‑performing leadership teams across geographies, fostering a strong performance culture with clear KPIs.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners and external stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with group standards, policies and regulatory requirements, driving robust operational governance.

Required profile

• 10–15+ years of senior operational or general management experience with full P&L ownership.
• Proven track record managing asset‑heavy, service‑driven businesses in a multi‑site or multi‑country environment.
• Strong commercial acumen combined with deep operational expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, geographically dispersed teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Hands‑on, execution‑focused leadership style.
• Experience in African or other emerging markets is a plus.
