Head of Group FP&A

About the role

Moniepoint is Africa’s all‑in‑one financial ecosystem. The Head of Group FP&A will design and own the group‑wide FP&A framework, consolidate forecasts and budgets across subsidiaries and provide reliable financial performance insight to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the Group’s FP&A framework, including forecasting architecture, budgeting process and management‑reporting standards.
• Consolidate entity and business‑unit forecasts into a single Group P&L, balance sheet and cash flow with multi‑currency handling.
• Run the monthly and quarterly reporting cycles at Group level, delivering consolidated management accounts, Board packs and investor‑grade reports.
• Partner with BU CFOs and finance leads to set standards, consolidate outputs and ensure consistent KPI and unit‑economics reporting.
• Lead scenario and sensitivity modelling for strategic decisions such as new market entry and capital raises.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or investment banking, building forecasting frameworks from scratch.
• Proven track record consolidating multi‑entity, multi‑currency forecasts and management accounts.
• Background in banking, fintech or another regulated, fast‑growth environment.
• Advanced financial modelling expertise and relevant professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CFA or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to operate remotely as a senior finance leader across time zones.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel financial modelling (architect‑level).
• Experience with planning/consolidation tools such as NetSuite, Aleph or Pigment.
