Head of Sales & Commercial Development

About the role

We are looking for a senior sales leader to drive growth of our juice, pulp and dried‑fruit portfolio across local and export markets. The role combines strategic sales planning, channel development and brand positioning to achieve ambitious revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic, regional and export markets (Uganda, Ethiopia, GCC, Europe).
• Build and strengthen retail, wholesale and export distribution networks.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and trade agreements with distributors and key accounts.
• Lead brand development and market positioning for Picana juices and dried‑fruit products.
• Mentor and manage the sales team, set KPIs and conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with key clients and drive customer retention.
• Ensure compliance with food‑safety and export standards (HACCP, FSSC, other certifications).

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 84 months (7 years) of sales experience in FMCG.
• Proven track record of revenue growth and channel development.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Experience working with export regulations and international market requirements.
