About the role
The Internal Security Officer will oversee the safety and security of Mukiria Technical Training Institution. This full‑time position is based in Westlands, Kenya, and focuses on protecting people, property, and information across the campus.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily security operations and personnel.
- Maintain records of unlawful interference and incident reports.
- Update emergency procedures and contingency plans.
- Track and chart crime and incident data.
- Conduct regular security surveys throughout the institute.
Required profile
- Diploma in Criminology or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Basic training from the National Youth Service (advantageous).
- Relevant experience in a recognized institution (approximately two years).
- Certificate in computer applications.
- Demonstrated merit, integrity, and strong performance results.
