Marketing Sales & Client Growth Specialist

About the role

This full‑time remote position is for a relationship‑driven professional who will manage the entire sales journey and build lasting client relationships for a digital marketing agency. You will own marketing‑services opportunities from the first inquiry through discovery, proposal, negotiation, contract signing, and ongoing account growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain marketing‑services opportunities in the CRM, managing each from initial inquiry through signed contract.
• Lead discovery and sales calls, qualifying prospects for services such as SEO/GEO/AEO, PPC, lead generation, email, social media, organic marketing, and web development.
• Collaborate with specialists to scope projects, prepare proposals, and coordinate internal reviews.
• Maintain proactive communication with prospects and manage opportunities through to close.
• Own the transition from signed contract to project kickoff, handling client intake, expectation‑setting, and internal handoff.
• Brief marketing specialists on new accounts to ensure clear understanding of objectives, scope, and commercial commitments.
• Track pipeline metrics including call volume, proposal turnaround time, and win rate.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies and promotional plans for assigned accounts.
• Coordinate promotional plan execution across specialist teams and flag delivery risks early.
• Build and maintain ongoing client relationships through regular check‑ins and quarterly business reviews.
• Identify, develop, and close upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of agency‑side sales or business development experience combined with marketing project work, or roughly 5 years in digital marketing.
• Experience creating go‑to‑market strategies or promotional campaign plans.
• Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle independently, from discovery to closing.
• Working knowledge of core digital marketing services (SEO/GEO/AEO, PPC, email, organic, social, web) and ability to brief specialists accurately.
• Track record of meeting pipeline or revenue targets.
• Experience managing post‑sale client relationships and driving upsell opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of preparing proposals and client‑facing materials.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple pipelines and accounts.
• Fluent English at C1 level or higher.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho.
