About the role
The Marketing Specialist – Industrial Solutions will lead the development and execution of growth strategies for Solenis’ industrial water treatment portfolio across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). Reporting to the MEA Regional Marketing Director, you will work closely with commercial, application and technical teams to drive market expansion, new product launches and innovation pipelines.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional growth strategies aligned with global objectives for oil & gas, mining, municipal and refinery & petrochemical segments.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, competitive threats and identify expansion opportunities.
- Identify new product development opportunities and collaborate with global marketing and technology teams using product blueprinting tools.
- Partner with innovation and sales teams to validate market demand and launch new solutions in the region.
- Create differentiated, quantified value propositions and enable the sales force to deliver value‑selling.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business or a related field.
- Experience in refinery, petrochemicals, oil & gas, heavy industry, water treatment or chemical services.
- Proven background in sales and marketing roles.
- Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
- Fast autonomous learner comfortable with technology, chemistry and sustainability.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management capabilities.
- Results‑driven, collaborative and resilient.
