Mechanical Engineering Technician – Automotive

About the role

The college is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician specialized in automotive systems to join its teaching team. The successful candidate will deliver practical and theoretical instruction to students pursuing automotive engineering qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and workshop training sessions in automotive engineering.
• Maintain and demonstrate use of workshop equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback.
• Ensure training activities comply with TVETA licensing requirements.

Required profile

• Craft certificate/Level 5 in automotive engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• Licensed trainer status with TVETA and any other required bodies.
• Pedagogy qualification demonstrating ability to teach.
