Medical Recruitment Consultant – Psychologist

About the role

CloserMed is looking for qualified Psychologists who want to combine their clinical insight with a business‑focused career in healthcare recruitment. As a Medical Recruitment Consultant you will work remotely, supporting Canadian and UK healthcare organisations by matching doctors and allied health professionals with the right opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Become an expert in physician and allied‑health recruitment, understanding market trends and candidate motivations.
• Engage with pre‑qualified candidate leads provided by the marketing team.
• Assess professional and personal needs of candidates and match them with suitable roles.
• Develop creative solutions to address candidate concerns and close placements.
• Maintain accurate records in the company’s recruitment platform and report on placement activity.

Required profile

• Qualified Psychologist or allied‑health professional with interest in the business side of healthcare.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Commitment to a minimum of two successful placements per month, with higher performance targets.

Required skills

• Understanding of healthcare recruitment processes.
• Ability to use recruitment technology platforms.
