Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Manager

About the role

The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Manager will lead the design, implementation and quality assurance of MEAL activities for the TDH Kenya delegation and the Child Rights in Business (CRB) portfolio. Based in Nairobi, the role involves close collaboration with programme heads, partners and implementing agencies to ensure data‑driven decision‑making and continuous learning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, harmonise and oversee MEAL strategies for TDH Kenya and CRB initiatives.
• Supervise MEAL officers and coordinate with focal points of implementing partners.
• Ensure data quality, timely reporting and compliance with organisational standards.
• Facilitate learning processes, knowledge sharing and evidence‑based programme adjustments.
• Provide technical guidance on monitoring, evaluation and accountability tools.
• Travel occasionally to project sites across Kenya and, when required, to regional locations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning within humanitarian or development programmes.
• Familiarity with child protection and rights‑based approaches.
• Ability to work under dual supervision and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
