Network Engineer – CCNP Certified – Relocate to DRC

About the role

An international infrastructure and mining company is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join its operations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The role involves maintaining and supporting enterprise‑level Cisco network infrastructure across multiple remote sites, ensuring stability, security and high performance.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches and firewalls.
• Support LAN/WAN connectivity across several sites and manage VPN links.
• Monitor network performance, perform upgrades, backups and keep documentation up to date.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure issues promptly.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors as needed.
• Enforce network security best practices.

Required profile

• CCNP certification (mandatory).
• At least 3 years of hands‑on network engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Cisco routing and switching.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs and enterprise networking.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote‑site environment.
• Previous experience in telecom, mining, ISP or similar infrastructure environments is an advantage.
• Willingness to relocate to the DRC.
