Network Security Sales Engineer

About the role

Join a leading global cybersecurity company as a Network Security Sales Engineer. This hands‑on, customer‑facing position blends technical consulting, deployment, and solution delivery for enterprise clients across cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure network security software for proofs‑of‑concept and production deployments.
• Support customers during implementation, both in cloud and on‑premise settings.
• Maintain demo environments to reflect the latest product capabilities.
• Lead technical onboarding, guiding customers through setup and early adoption.
• Participate in remote calls to gather requirements, advise on deployment strategies, and troubleshoot issues.
• Debug problems through log analysis and collaborate with internal engineering teams.
• Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Delivery, and Engineering to ensure successful outcomes.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on network management experience with a focus on security.
• Professional experience in a customer‑facing sales, customer success, or account management role.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and firewall concepts.
• Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and manage technical discussions professionally.

Required skills

• Firewall technologies from Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, or Check Point.
• Networking certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, etc.) – preferred.
• Linux server setup and basic administration.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Fundamentals of Docker and Kubernetes.
