Physician – BOSC Clinic

About the role

Amentum is seeking a qualified Physician to provide comprehensive medical care at the BOSC Clinic, supporting a unique U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves delivering primary, acute, and preventive health services to a multi‑national workforce in an austere environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations, evaluate medical histories, and order diagnostic tests including labs and imaging.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, prescribe medications, and manage therapies in line with medical guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies, provide advanced life support, trauma stabilization, and other critical care interventions.
• Collaborate with Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and ancillary staff to ensure high‑quality care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems and comply with all healthcare regulations.
• Participate in clinical operations review, process improvement, and stay current with evidence‑based medical practices.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty.
• Valid, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience, preferably in primary care, emergency medicine, or clinic settings.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS is a plus.
• Fluent English communication skills, valid passport, and ability to travel internationally.
