About the role
We are looking for Bank Domestic Assistants to join the staff bank at the Telford Centre in Fort Augustus. The role supports the residential care home by maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for up to ten residents.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping tasks throughout the home.
- Ensure all communal areas, bedrooms and bathrooms meet NHS Highland hygiene standards.
- Assist with laundry, waste management and stock replenishment.
- Report any health and safety concerns in line with Health Protection and Care Inspectorate requirements.
- Work flexibly according to the bank schedule, covering shifts as needed.
Required profile
- Motivated individual with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable residents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
- Willingness to follow NHS Highland policies and procedures.
- Eligibility to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship available.
Required skills
- Basic cleaning and housekeeping techniques.
- Understanding of health and safety standards in a care setting.
