About the role
The Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Analyst will support the UNFPA Kenya Country Office in delivering results‑based management for both development and humanitarian programmes. Reporting to the Gender/GBV Advisor, the analyst will provide technical expertise in results planning, monitoring, reporting and knowledge management.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate the definition of results and contribute to robust M&E frameworks that guide monitoring, reporting and performance management.
- Provide technical inputs for the development of theories of change, incorporating past, present and future programme contexts.
- Support the application of results data to inform programme and management adjustments.
- Ensure rigorous standards for evaluation across development and humanitarian settings.
- Collaborate closely with the M&E Specialist, Programme and Operations teams to guarantee timely and compliant programme delivery.
- Advance knowledge management by documenting lessons learned and best practices.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in planning, monitoring and evaluation within development or humanitarian contexts.
- Familiarity with UN reporting standards and results‑based management approaches.
- Ability to work under supervision while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
