Platform Engineer

About the role

The candidate should demonstrate the following skills: maintain Ajua’s platform uptime, performance, stability and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain platform uptime, performance, stability and scalability.
• Design, guide, mentor and challenge system architecture and design with others.
• Develop, maintain, and scale a world‑class public API.
• Build robust, extensible solutions from feature requests.
• Collaborate with data scientists, DBAs, operations, and machine‑learning teams to deliver data‑driven features.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of broad engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
• Advanced understanding of a JVM language, preferably Java.
• Experience architecting, developing and deploying distributed systems.
