About the role
The Frontier Counties Development Council is seeking a Programme Officer to lead the implementation of Outcome 3 of the RANGE Program. This five‑year initiative aims to strengthen linkages between communities and government structures across Samburu, Marsabit and Isiolo counties.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate inclusive participatory planning to improve government accountability and service delivery.
- Develop and support conflict‑resolution and peace‑building frameworks for communal and regional collaboration.
- Establish platforms for government‑to‑government engagement on economic, environmental and social issues.
- Generate evidence to influence policies, legislation and budget allocations at national and county levels.
- Promote private‑sector engagement and public‑private partnerships to attract investment in ASAL counties.
Required profile
- Ability to implement Outcome 3 of the RANGE Program, focusing on improved community‑government linkages.
