Reporting Officer – Horn of Africa (Kenyan nationals)

About the role

The Reporting Officer will support INSO’s Horn of Africa hub by ensuring timely, high‑quality donor reporting and by gathering communication material that showcases the impact of safety coordination for NGOs. Reporting to the Country Director, the role combines reporting, grant‑management assistance and brand‑visibility tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Track external reporting deadlines and communicate them to the country team.
• Assist the Country Director in consolidating, editing and submitting donor reports, proposals and modification requests.
• Collect, write and compile success stories from field staff for internal and external audiences.
• Act as brand ambassador, guiding colleagues on donor and INSO visibility and correct brand usage.
• Coordinate content‑collection activities such as photoshoots and interviews, providing administrative support.
• Maintain an output tracker, store means of verification and support the field programme team with archiving and data‑cleaning.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing tasks.
• Initiative, reliability and a collaborative mindset.
• Kenyan nationality (as specified in the posting).
