About the role
Laterite is seeking a Research Analyst to support social and economic research projects in Kenya. The role blends research design, data analysis, project management support, and fieldwork coordination within a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement research surveys and data collection tools.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to produce actionable insights.
- Support project managers with timelines, budgets, and reporting.
- Coordinate fieldwork activities, including enumerator supervision and data quality checks.
- Prepare concise reports and presentations for clients such as the World Bank and Mastercard Foundation.
Required profile
- Kenyan national with a strong motivation for social and economic research.
- Degree in economics, sociology, statistics, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
