About the role

This 30‑month fixed‑term position offers an ambitious engineering graduate or researcher the chance to accelerate their career as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate. You will work on a high‑profile, innovative project that bridges academia and industry, delivering new products or services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners and university researchers on a KTP project.
• Conduct engineering research and develop prototypes or solutions.
• Analyse data, produce technical reports, and present findings.
• Contribute to project planning, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and research governance standards.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career researcher in Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and meet Skilled Worker visa criteria if required.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
