Sales Agent – High-End Furniture & Interior Solutions

About the role

The role involves promoting and selling high‑end furniture and interior fitting solutions to a discerning client base in Nairobi. You will work closely with interior designers, architects, property developers and other key stakeholders to generate new business and grow existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Promote and sell high‑end furniture and interior fitting solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, interior designers, architects, property developers and other stakeholders.
• Understand clients’ needs and recommend suitable furniture and interior solutions.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on leads and convert prospects into sales.
• Conduct product presentations and showroom/client visits as required.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads and sales activities.
• Follow up on existing clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
• Stay up‑to‑date with furniture, interior design and market trends.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Interior Design or a related field.
• At least 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in high‑end furniture, interior fittings, home décor, real estate, construction or a related industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Customer‑focused with excellent relationship‑building skills.
• Well‑presented, confident and professional.
• Self‑driven, target‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Good understanding of the Nairobi high‑end residential and commercial market (advantage).
• Existing networks among interior designers, architects, property developers and high‑net‑worth clients (advantage).
