Sales and Marketing Manager – FMCG Experience Required

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our FMCG portfolio in Nairobi. The successful candidate will design and execute sales and marketing strategies that boost revenue, expand market share, and strengthen relationships with distributors and key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth.
• Lead, supervise and motivate the sales team to meet targets and KPIs.
• Set sales targets, monitor performance and report results to management.
• Identify new business opportunities, markets and potential customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers and key accounts.
• Track market trends, competitor activity, pricing and customer preferences.
• Utilise CRM systems to manage leads, customer interactions and sales performance.
• Coordinate territory and account management activities.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Proven ability to lead a sales team and achieve set targets.
• Strong understanding of FMCG sales operations and market dynamics.
