About the role

The Sales Consultant is the primary point of contact for prospective vehicle buyers at TMD Kenya. This role requires proactive lead generation, consultative selling, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional purchase experience from first contact through post‑delivery follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new sales leads through field visits, cold calling, referrals, networking events and digital channels.
  • Respond to inbound enquiries (walk‑in, telephone, digital) within one hour, qualify leads and maintain an up‑to‑date sales pipeline in the CRM.
  • Conduct detailed needs analysis with customers, present tailored vehicle demonstrations and recommend suitable Isuzu models.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, present pricing, financing options and trade‑in values, and negotiate within approved guidelines.
  • Present financing, insurance and value‑added products, and follow up with customers through post‑delivery support.

Required profile

  • Results‑driven and customer‑obsessed with a strong desire to achieve sales targets.
  • Resilient under pressure and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and consultative selling skills.
  • Accountable for personal sales results, customer satisfaction and long‑term retention.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with a CRM system for pipeline management.
