Sales Manager – Marketplace & Affordable Housing

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the Marketplace and Affordable Housing portfolios for HFCB Properties Limited, driving unit sales targets and building strategic partnerships across Kenya. You will oversee a small team, ensure data quality, and represent the business at national events.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver monthly and annual unit sales targets for both portfolios.
• Lead, coach and performance‑manage two Team Leaders and two Outreach Officers.
• Design and implement the national sales and activations calendar with marketing.
• Build and maintain institutional and agency partnership networks (SACCOs, employers, estate agents, county referrals).
• Oversee CRM data quality and submit weekly pipeline reports to the Head of Digital Property Business.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding and exit of Property Advisors in coordination with HR.
• Integrate HFC Bank accounts, mortgage pre‑qualification and insurance cross‑sell into sales interactions.
• Ensure KYC and AML compliance across client records.
• Represent the company at housing events, government engagements and developer forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Real Estate, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience leading sales teams in real‑estate or related sectors.
• Strong ability to coach, set performance targets and drive accountability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to obtain membership in the Estate Agents regulatory body if not already held.
