About the role
Keda Ceramics International Limited is seeking a proactive Sales Specialist to join its Nairobi team. You will be the primary point of contact for generating new business, nurturing client relationships, and promoting the company’s ceramic tiles and sanitary ware portfolio across East and Central Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and qualify sales leads through market research and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Present product offerings, conduct training sessions, and demonstrate product benefits.
- Manage client accounts, track sales pipelines, and ensure timely follow‑up.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
- Collect and analyse sales data to inform market‑entry strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing and production teams to align sales initiatives with product availability.
Required profile
- Proven experience in sales or sales management, preferably meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
- Experience delivering product training to customers or internal teams.
- Strong problem‑solving, organisational, and time‑management skills.
- Familiarity with the ceramics or construction‑materials sector is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Nairobi and travel as required.
