Security Guard – Healthcare Facility Experience Preferred

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Private Security Guard to join our team at a busy healthcare facility in Westlands, Nairobi. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff while ensuring the security of the premises.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol hospital grounds, monitor entrances and exits, and inspect for safety hazards.
• Verify visitor credentials, screen for prohibited items, and manage visitor movement.
• Respond to emergencies such as theft, violent incidents, or medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to coordinate security measures.
• Assist visitors by providing directions and supporting accessibility needs.
• Prepare incident reports, daily activity logs, and access‑control records.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• KCSE certificate or equivalent.
• Valid certificate of good conduct.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle stressful situations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of security experience; healthcare experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of security systems and procedures.
