Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join Solvo Global’s Nairobi team. You will design, build, and maintain web‑based applications that span the full technology stack, from database layers to responsive front‑ends, supporting our flagship SaaS, mobile, and on‑premise products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and debug complex application code across all tiers.
• Write unit tests and ensure high code quality through code reviews.
• Produce technical documentation throughout the software lifecycle.
• Lead system design to meet security, performance, data integrity and scalability requirements.
• Collaborate with QA to define comprehensive testing strategies.
• Guide the team in adopting engineering standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or higher degree, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience, preferably in product design, architecture or support.
• Proven ability to mentor junior developers.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with Human Capital Management (HCM) domain is a plus.
