Senior Infrastructure Manager – Cloud & Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Manager to lead a team of 3‑6 engineers responsible for the design, operation and evolution of mission‑critical production environments. The role combines hands‑on technical work with people management, ensuring high availability, security and scalability across both legacy and modern cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers, providing performance feedback and career development.
• Design, implement and manage Microsoft Azure environments, including multiple subscriptions and tenants.
• Drive cloud assessments, workload migrations and Azure Site Recovery deployments.
• Develop and maintain automation using Ansible, Puppet, Chef or similar tools, and support containerised workloads with Docker.
• Create and update technical documentation, topology diagrams and operational procedures.
• Plan capacity, define infrastructure specifications and oversee virtualization and networking investments.
• Develop, test and execute disaster‑recovery plans and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, program management and external service providers.

Required profile

• Extensive experience supporting complex production environments and leading technical teams.
• Strong background in Microsoft Azure, cloud migrations and SaaS infrastructure.
• Proven ability to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills across Windows and Linux platforms.
